Taking Flight – Ophelia Project’s 17th Annual Luncheon

I’m honored to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Ophelia Project.  This wonderful organization provides mentoring to 8th through 12th grade at-risk girls in the Coachella Valley.

The annual luncheon was yesterday, and I was thrilled to bring along a few friends to celebrate this wonderful organization that is making a tangible difference in our community.  The luncheon included many presentations by the young ladies who have been mentored through the program.  Each one spoke eloquently about what an important role their mentors played in helping them achieve their goals and in “rescuing their potential.”
